Best mapping option?

Right me again (you will get annoyed soon I promise )

My car runs really well and there are no signs of fuel cut outs or any nasty goings on at all.

The car is an EVO 6 with exhaust, decat and an HKS filter.

After the service in 2 weeks I want to have the car mapped so that I know all is well and ensure that the A/F ratio is bang on etc etc.

Is the standard EVO 6 ECU mappable? and if so where and how would you guys recommend getting it done.

Cheers

Lee

Will have to do that then after the serivce.

I am not going for large power (been there dont that with the GTR) just want to make sure that it carries on pulling well for the future.

Hi,

You have two options, either and Ecutek reflash or a fully mappable unit ie Autronics. Purely depends on budget to be honest with you

ECUTEK is where you have your standard ecu re- mapped and is great value for money at £550 +vat

Where as the other options are Power FC, Motec, Gems, Autronics or IMO one of the best units out there at the minute AEM :muhaha: These are mappable units but replace the original ecu These start at around £1295 +vat for the Power FC unit.

Give us a shout if you want any quotes we cater for all the above units
