got another problem (me again!)

my idle speed seems to be very high its about 1500rpm when hot or cold and if i drive it hard when i come to a stand still it starts hunting going from about 700 to 2000 just keeps going up and down till u turn it off?

As far as im aware nothing. More fuel :???: if anything it might cause the clutch to wear slightly when starting and changing gear but thats about it. Still, would be best to replace asap.

sounds like icv yeh. had same problem on my corsa. replaced it twice and still did it. so greased it in the end and seems to have cured it. might be worth takin yours out, cleaning it up. re greasing and fit it back. might cure it

yep mine did it for a few days after driving through a fook off puddle but went back to normal after a few days

try adjusting the idle screw before buying the icv,most people ive seen have played with the idle screw and the icv cannot cope with it,it then does what your saying(hunting).
I bin the icv now on all built motors
