Has Anyone Did this??

Im wondering if anyone has installed a BOV (Blow Off Valve) or dump vlave or watever in their EVO and blocked the pipe that vents the surge back into the intake just after the Filter. Ive seen some evos for sale that have pics of their engine bay, and noticed theyt have done this.

I was told, and Ive read on here that that is not good for ya car. ?!?!?! Is it?

theres nothing wrong doing it,most of the time they are fine but you can get an unstable idle and almost stalling when you come to a quick stop.

If you are refering to the pipe where the standard return goes into then this is quite common. But if you put a bailey dump valve on the other end near throttle body after blanking they dont seem a lot of cop because really you need a ssqv dump as this has two pistons which will stop stalling etc as i know to well but i just cant get away from the wooshhhhhhhhhh.so i need to save more pennies (story of my life) and buy a more expensive dump valve, saying this though some evos do run fine on a bailey.

So If I want a WOOSH noise (Excuse my rice accent) I can block the recirc valve and just install a BOV?
