Turbo's

What turbo would you run to acheive 420-450 ish bhp if you had a 2.4 stroker on an evo 6. somthing that doesent spool to late.
Any ideas

Our HKS2835 Gt pro S is good for 420 bhp.

With near stock spool up, I would suggest you speak to Ian aka the tyrant as he seems to enjoy changing turbos :shock: :-)

Have you spoken to Famous as he has had his turbo changed and he is running over 400 Bhp on standard internals :shock:

If you were only going for 420-450, i wouldnt bother stroking the engine. Would just put 86mm pistons in which would increase the engine capacity to 2.1. From there would use a Garrett GT2871R Turbo which we can spec for power anything between 360-460. The beauty of this turbo is that it remains an internal wastegate thus aiding early spool up.This turbo will easily pull round to 8500 rpm :-)
