Hello Steve this subject is a big one! Forged internals is the way forward but if you are on a cheap budget later evo pistons can be used i.e evo 7-9 pistons. To get everything you need to do a forged rebuild i think you will be looking in the region of £1000+ just for parts (from america) then there is the labour on top of that which aint cheap neither new clutch at the same time while its apart to save doing it again in the near future etc.
Have you done a compression test or leak down test??
Unfortunatly this is the kind of thing that requires an open wallet really and pay for what needs to be done Do the job proper the first time and wont need doing again if you see what i mean. Dont cut corners just to save a few quid.
I am sure there will be other people to answer this for you that have actually had there engines rebuilt and traders that can offer this service.
Hope you get it sorted mate did you not get warrenty with the car??

as above defo.

to get the price down a bit i would go for later model pistons i even think you can put later modle con rod in.
if you want to be cheap. do it yourself if you know what your doing.
i was going to do mine but then realised im not a merchanic. well actualy the timing side scared me.
i would think twice about cheap. this is a high performance engine all it need is one silly mistake and pop your engine is having to be rebuilt again.

As the guys above have said cheapest isn't necessarily the best option babes, cheap means "compromised" get yourself to a tuner who knows what they are doing and has experience, great feedback and a reputation to boot

Just shop around and see whats on offer ...where are you based anyway??
