Right putting this up for sale. Been my runabout for the last 9 months and been a spot on motor.
Has done 153k now, I bought it on 142k and bought it off my boss who has had it since its done 40k. Mostly motorway miles.
Had cam belt at 137k, new exhaust 6 months ago, two new tyres 2 months ago. back ones still loads of tread.
Is tested till 26th of September and taxed till end of december.
2.0 8v engine, not a beast but is torquey and i average 38mpg pottering around in it, does well over 40 on a run!
Just need to swap a spring as one broke on it, which is a common thing apparently.
Also it needs a new windscreen as its cracked. I may be sorting this too.
If anyone wants it as it is now they can have it for £200 as it is, is £80 worth of tax on it.
I will supply a spring and shock which i have. Windscreen you can get replaced for £50 on your insurance.
Or I will stick it through the mot myself and be after £350 ish in a few weeks. with new screen, shock fitted and 12 months test.
Its a really nice car to drive, i changed the oil in it at 150k and its had everyting done, have a massive wedge of receipts and service history for it.
It doesnt use a drop of oil, and is lovely and quiet, box is smooth and no rattles or anything.
is a decent spec so has electric windows, sunroof and mirrors, nice comfy velour interior. Talking dashboard which tells u whenever anything is wrong, is pretty funny lol.
would be keeping it but am gettin a valver as a daily driver for the fun drive home lol.
