New Toyo T1-R's

Just changed to these tyres and Have to say I am not that impressed. I had these changed at a so called reputable tyre shop but they didnt have a clue when it came to the tyres or an Evolution!

Because of they way it handles I am now starting to doubt whether the tyres are fitted correctly...can anyone give me an Idea as to how i can check this...I know they have left and right markings and they should be directional tyres...but I am not convinced the tread is facing the right way
Also can anyone tell me what tyre pressures they are running as the standard front and rear seem to make handling a little wobbly esp round bends?

Hope it make sense!

In a nut shell mate i think they are rubbish tyres.

everyone rated them so we tried them on our old astra sport before putting them on the evo. The car would step out at any opportunity it could and thats with on 150bhp. They will be a bit iffy first of all until you have scrubbed them in. But I still wouldn't rate them. I believe Falkens 452's are supposed to be the daddies at the mo.

We have always had bf goodridge profiler g. Never had any problems with them in the wet or dry, they are approx £80 a tyre, but they last and as said very good.

Pressure we put 30 all round in ours and the arrowson the wall of the tyre should point the way your wheels turn.

Blimey Guys thanks for making me feel better about these...lol. I must admit I only bought these because my yoko A046 were on their way out....but I thought they were not a bad tyre...these toyo's sound pretty bad...and I have only just got em...lol... i dont think they have done 50 miles yet? Anybody want to swap...lol?. So does this mean for 10k or so miles i have to watch for these tyres behaving eratically???? and push em ?
