Breaks and pad replacements

I am getting ready to replace the breaks and pads on my car, I wanted to know if there is a certain brand that is better. I am not real worried on price would just like them to last as long as I can get them to and do not want cheap ones.

Ferodo are well liked by many and EBC Reds are disliked but it all depends on your driving style. I've used both and found the Reds squeal a bit and need some warming up to work at their best.
