Stock brakes

Not sure how to exactly word this, but let me try. I have drove many cars in my time, but most all stock (factory made) brakes seem to work better than the stock ones for evos? Am I losing my marbles here or is this been true for others?

I personally haven't had any other brakes than stock brakes. I never felt that I needed anything other than stock brakes. They get the job done very well.
