confused with problem

my abs light had came on so i have changed all front and rear set of pads but the light will not go out and now my ayc light is coming on now and again and making a hell of a noise as if the pump is working hard but it is full of fluid

could it be maybe my hand brake shoes are sticking or are needing done to cause this to happen

any help or advice you can give would be great

are the wheel sensors ok? if it thinks one of the wheels has stopped moving it will cause an error

TBH mate I have never had to check them myself, I would assume that you have to jack the car off it's wheels and spin the wheels with a scope on the ABS ECU plug to see if you get a change of state. However I am sure ther will be an easier way, Petebeemer is probably a good person to speak to mate.

sensors are in the hubs themselves(all 4) and point to the castleated parts of the driveshaft,i would predict its one of the rears thats gone down,as jaba says you can put a tester on them to check them

so is that a dealer job then to get them tested

i have read that if they have gone i shouldnt drive the car is this true

you can just use a voltmeter m8,driving the car just means you haven't got abs thats all
