BRAIDED LINES...ARE THEY WORTH FITTING?

IS THERE ANY POINT FITTING BRAIDED BRAKEHOSES ON AN EVO 2?

HOW DOES £50 SUPPLIED SOUND? CHEAP ?

Hi,

Can't comment on your quote, but I can tell you why braided hoses are used in 'motorsport'.
In short, Under heavy braking, they cannot expand like rubber hoses, no exspansion means no spongy pedal, also stops brake pedal chatter if you have ABS.
I guess if you are a hard braking mo-fo or spend a lot of time on track then yes, they're an excellent idea (they also look schexxy).

In a word m8 yes.
I fitted some on ours and was well impressed with the pedal feel.not spongey at all.I would also recommend a brake stopper if you havent already got one.
cheers

Speak to Lloyd at JRD services I am sure we got ours for the one from him. Or As performance can't remember which one. But for £55 we got the braided lines and the decent connectors at the end. (goodrich hoses).

Check the traders section on here they advertised them a while back so it may be a few pages. If I have time as got to go out again now I will find the linka nd post it up.

As Pete says, i think they should come as standard kit.
£50 is ok but im sure i got mine a little cheaper from Proven Products.

Definately worth the money.
