body rub

just changed my standard evo4 wheels 205/50/16 for set of 215/45/17 and every time i go over big hump or pot hole the tyres seem tohit the body work at the rear any suggestions on what might be doing it or a way of preventing

most probably its the 215 thats causing the problem..............roll the arches or smaller widths.

seems strange they would catch, ive got that size on my 2 and they dont catch :???: The 4 has a lot bigger arches

i thought it strange to most people told me they were bet bet even the garage looked on there computer and said would be fine.only thing i can think it may have been lowered at back(dont think so)

what is the offset on the wheels, this may have something to do with it! good luck :muhaha:

happy now found an old thread on mlr about it .there is a braket witch holds bumper to rear wing had to grind it down a weeee bit and problem solved :-) :-) :-) :-)
