thanks again guys...i havnt knocked the tabs up (on scoobs at work we just wind them off and ditch the tab washer and locttite em). do they just unscrew by hand when you changed yours after you'd cracked it off? i couldnt get my stilsons anywhere near it :x

yes m8 locktabs off,cracked the thread and it spun off by hand.i couldnt move ours with the tabs in place,normally as you say they open as you undo it but not this time.

changed both of them yesterday, cheers evo1man, just as you said, bosh the locktabs off and was piece of piss
