Had Black Diamond on previous cars, and was real impressed, they look good too 8)

However, the cost put me off them for the Evo, so i opted for EBC and have never looked back

jimn off here put some black diamond pads on standard disks. he said they were shit and very dangerous. alot of brake fade, basicly when they got hot they didnt work.

Never used them TBH but all the reports I have heard have been bad ones :???:

We have always used and recommended EBC's for a decent budget disc

It would seem from these comments, that they don't suit the Evo

EBC all the way then :muhaha:

Reading some reports recently on another site and many VI owners are ranting and raving about Carbotech pads.

Which you can get from the tyrant off here.

bog standard ebc plain discs from funky styling, carbotech pads from ian(the tyrant).these pads are seriously good.good bite from cold and excellent hot.make the stock brembos work the way you expect a brake of that caliber to work.
