hi steve
this car looks like a good buy, the 1600cc pug is one of the best (a lot more reliable than the 1900cc) rallying is good fun we used to do the peugeot gti rally challenge championship.
my advice is buy it if you want some fun (do local rallies etc).

(now the pitfalls) rallying is very expensive, purchasing tyres and parts, entry fees etc. the best way to help with this issue is to try to get sponsership from companys and have a co-driver that will pay there way.

you do have another problem, you have got to find a co-driver that will sit at the side of you (remember i have seen you drive )

cheers Lee mate!!!!

Well I wasn't so much thinking of full time rallying but maybe the odd club rally mixed with trackdays and Blyton, whenever there was something going on. More fun, than full on competition.

Looks a good giggle though! 8)

go and buy it then

if you do any rallys in mansfield ie: premier stages, dukeries rally i will help you out on the spanners if you need it.

it would be a good laugh.

Looks like a great little toy mate 8)
As Lee says, rallying is an expensive passtime which is why i chose sprinting. It would be a great fun track weapon though. A well set-up and light FWD is great fun on track, i still miss my Celica which could carry phenominal speed through the bends.
Surely the Evo would be just as fun though? Albeit a slightly different kind of fun

The difference is, compared to the evo, this is cheap fun and I can save the evo for the expensive sprint/track stuff

Thanks for the offer of help Lee, may well take you up on that! 8)
