Hit and run damage only (luckily) to my Evo Biggleswade

While in Argos Biggleswade Beds today 12.30 a car drove into my evo 4 and drove off, without stopping, causing damage to the rear nearside door, Thankfully there was an independant witness, who gave me the Reg no, colour and make, It will go through insurance now but I have a fight on my hands And it takes time I will have to have the car repaired at my own expence and then hope the guilty party is found and have valid insurance etc,
I would like to speak to this individual and see if this can be sorted out now,
My Twelve year old daughter was in the evo at the time and is very distressed. I think you will understand my anxiousness in this matter,
If anyone has any information on a White Toyota Reg no AM02 ODV
please contact me

Thanks

Thanks, any help is appreciated,
Talking to the witness, the driver of the other car would have been in no doubt that he had hit my car. This makes me feel dissapointed in people, I have had the car less than a week and spent ages looking for one, To add insult to it all I had just and only just, applied some evolution 1V decals to the rear doors, thats where it hit!

Police Not interested!

Went to the Police station with all the info witness details Reg no of car etc, Was told as it happened on private property, Argos/Halfords car park It was nothing to do with them, surely if you drive into a car and cause damage and then drive off you have commited some sort of offence, or can you commit any crime you like as long as it is on private property?

grrr annoys me so much that mate. Happend to the mrs's car twice now. Luckily the first time there was a whitness and it got repaired for her free. someones dented the back wing on it now. That'll have to be a bit of wood and hammered from the inside this time as no idea where it happened.
her cars not worth loads but its still not nice.
