Could be a noisy pulley mate

But it could also be the alternator belt slipping

You def sure it's the cambelt?

If it is the alternator belt mate, it might just be too tight.

Dead easy to adjust

As Waggy says it could be the Alternator/V belt but this belt has its own self sprung tensioner with a pulley wheel on and the noise is usually the bearing in the pulley wheel. The tensioner is only sold as a complete unit sold at £120 upwards depending upon your purchasing status ie trade etc. This Mitsubishi rip off can be avoided by removing the tensioner from the car then the wheel from the tensioner you can then go to your local bearing supplier to match the bearing press out and replace the £ucked one and save more than a few of your hard earnt £'s
