Which ECU

Which ecu would you go for or have. Early next year i will do mine and want to know which is the best, I dont want more than 380 odd gg's
The EcuTek is around 500-700 done
The power fc + commander + d jettro sensor and harness is 650 ish + mapping
The Autroniccs is I believe 2k mapped.

I quite fancy anti lag but dont feel it warrents the extra moolah
Do any of these have advantages over the others (I know the EcuteK has limits)

not sure mate i got the autronics and love it even the antilag 8)


having said that if ecutek were out when i had mine done i would probably go that route as its a bargain

Just don't know what to get. But, i am starting to lean slightly to the power fc

if all your after is 380ish ponies then can you really justify the spending on the other to expensive models????

got power FC in the mak and with the right mods and a good map its the dogs danglies for the cash mate honestly

o and you can also set up anyi lag on it :muhaha: :muhaha:

and try fleebay for your power fc, got mine off there brand new for a lot less than you think

With the commander you can monitor upto 8 different things, water temp, knock, injector duty etc. And it's a good price to start with :-)
You can adjust the map with the commander if you need to as well. For 380 you would only need an l jetro though so that's cheaper than the D jetro.

As many have already said,it really all depends on where you want to take the car.

If you are looking at around the 380 mark then definatly Ecutek.

If you are looking to take the car further then Autronics,we offer it with anti lag and launch control for £1850 inc vat.

But if you are really serious and are looking to go a bit crazy then it would be Motec

Just out of interest tell me how all these options are better than a Power FC :-)

There is no major reasons as to why these are all better than than the Apexi,its just generally what we would prefer to use.The Power FC is a good unit at a very good price,thats why we also use it aswell as gems,motec,autronics,aem,hks and ecutek.There is no reason as to not use it.After all,its down to the mapping
