Had a new clutch fitted, have done 220 miles today on it, mainly motorway boring crap...........when can I 'release the boost' on her??????

is it best to slip in a bit round town to bed it in or what?

cheers

na, its an organic uprated jobbie........

was thinking 500miles of boring zero boost should let it bed in, but dam, have you ever had to drive an RS evo not using any boost :x :x :x :x

so boring, so tempting to nail it !!!!!!!!!

Personally, I would just drive it normally now, clutches dont need much bedding in, just a few actuations to make sure its ok and take any crap off the plate

aye, clutches don't need bedding in, they're precisionly engineered pieces, so won't need to wear the mating surfaces flat. Just drive it normall from day 1 and you'll be fine. I've done it with all the clutches i've fitted, and most of them are now on 20k + milage and still strong as ever
