My Rolling Road Result

Well I tagged onto the GTI-R oc rolling road day today at powerstation.

For £30 I thought it would be good to do a power run not only to get some figures but mainly to make sure my fueling was ok.

Well what can I say, the resualts are very surprising.

The fueling was spot on at idle and cruise (around lambda 1 at cruise) and when on full chat she was running rich (which isn't brilliant but far better than running lean).

Anyway

The figures:

319.8 bhp @ fly
314.8 bhp @ fly (corrected to DIN 70020) whatever that means
202.3 bhp @ wheels
117.1 bhp Drag
Max Power @ 7050 rpm / 117 kmh

Torque 373.8 Nm (approx 276 ibft)

Max Torque @ 3990 rpm

Alot higher than I was expecting, however, some of the GTI-R's were getting lower figures than they expected, so I guess that the rollers weren't being over generous.

Now im thinking, what to do next ???

Hi m8

It's a 99 E6 GSR.

Bought it totally standard and have only fitted a Cat back TSL system and a decat pipe and Pipercross Induction kit.

Boost is set at 1 bar using dawes (as it was only running 0.8 - 0.9bar when I bought it).

Will take a pic of the graph and post it up

Ok here is a pic of the graph, sorry about the size but my batteries just died on the cam, and this is the only pic I could get off of it

Have adjusted the size and blanked my reg number only.

nothing else has been touched on it.

I did ask them about a TEK 3 or ECUTEK or whatever it's called, they said it would take the car to around 350bhp which is only an extra 35bhp from what I have and £500 for 35bhp sounds alot to me.

Im thinking maybe add an electronic boost controller and then see what that takes it to.
