New toys!!

Finally got round to fitting my new intercooler today, just needed a little cut out from the tray underneath, will fabricate a replacement:



Also the other day I was dropping the other half home and a conker fell off of a tree and dented my bonnet :x

Just as well I won this today off of ebay :

Got round to fitting the carbon fibre bonnet today. Generally a very good fit, once it was bolted on it was spot on first time, no bolts that didn’t fit etc so very good.

To transfer the heat shield, rubber seals etc I had to drill the holes, which was a nervous process! Having said that they all looked as though they were pretty much pre marked, just had to be very gentle with the drill!

One thing I am disappointed with is that the underside is in black fibreglass, with a carbon fibre top, maybe I’m naive but I thought it would be carbon fibre throughout.

Anyway pretty happy with the results:
