Evo VII Head Lights

I might be replacing the head lights in my VIII with complete units from a VIII. The reason I want to change is my '05 GSR VIII does not have fog lights nor HID. Seems in 03 and 04 fogs and HID were standard over here, but only available for the MR in 05. My questions are... Do VIIs come with HID, and are they adjustable like the 03 and 04 VIII? Im not sure what your VIIIs are like on that side of the pond, but we don't have any VIIs here to reference.

HID was an option on the VII as far as I know. My VII (JDM import) has HID lights, and they are adjustable. Hope this helps. :-)

On the GSR electrically adjustable HID with fogs were standard on JDM VIIs, in the UK quite a lot were converted to halogen without fogs to go through the SVA as HID needs to automatically adjust or have washers to pass and SVA.

A set of HID costs around £1500 from mitsi in the UK

Remember that the VII lights are silver lined too, not black like the MR.

Single Vehicle Approval, as the pre VIII evos weren't europoean type approved when they're imported they need testing before they're registered as a british car.
