finally found the problem?

after visiting ralliart at Leeds mitsubishi, i was told by thier ralliart mechanic that my water pump and turbo needed replacing, so still not very convinced i got in touch with a lovely garage in a foreign country called Wales yesterday. A place called RSE motorsport so hard to find i bought a tomtom sat nav to help with the journey, arrived bright and early and met a mechanic by the name of Paul who is up to date with the evos told him the story and was surprised by the way he examined the turbo and told me it was fine then said the water pump was okay as well.He then checked the compresion of my engine and oh my god 2 and 3 pot were leaking and 4 not very good final diagnosis was either head gasket, valves or the dreaded rings, much better than thecowboys at ralliart. Th elovely lady and gentleman who have the garage were very helpful and made our visit pleasant even though the news was not good, they broke it to me gently, but the good news is they can fix the problem and get the car back to full working order. Even though it was a 3hour drive from where i live its worth the travel to know that you are getting the best for your car, i would rather travel the 3 hours to have the work done than 30 mins to leeds where they couldn't diagnose a cold if i sneezed at them. Big thanks to Tina ,Andy & Paul and if you have not been to the garage take it from me just go to see that awesome Supra its worth the trip just to view it.
