Sorry, I'm new and I don't want to tread on anyone's toes, but wouldn't it be better to just post the procedure so that everybody can benefit from it? After all the purpose of a forum is to share know-how.
In every other forum I'm in ususally everybody is encouraged to publicly share info, while I've seen many "PM me" or "call me" answers here...

Generally i agree with you mate, but for the traders on here it can be awkward to start posting costs and options on a thread that will be around for quite a while.

The deal that can offered today might not be possible in six months, and while i'm sure most people understand that, you will get the occassional offended dude when the manual that was available free six months ago now costs.

Sometimes there are few options too, and may be helpful to chat about it rather than listing on a post. Remember if you have a similar question you can alway pm or call yourself.

I would agree with Dral on this one....

I will very rarely quote on threads, most quotes are given via pm or email or telephone, That way both the customer and the trader in question can discuss private issues as well as costs without feeling pressure from other members/traders.

The only time I will put prices on the forum is when I have specials offers available In which case I will put up a thread in the traders forum

Hope this helps

I can totally see this from everybody's point of view on im very much the same as Tina when it comes to quoting prices online. In this case i was talking through various different options which is easier than doing it over the forum.
I have a copy of the installation manual on hard disk,if anybody would like a copy i can email it over in pdf format.I hope nobody has been offended, but i do also think it was a good issue to be brought up by 99octane,after all,we are all evo inthusiasts

Any help required with anything, just give me a shout.

Lloyd :-)

The trouble is, it's a lot like setting up an AVCR, basically you cant post up on a forum like this, pages and pages of info.

On the whole, on here you will see call me or pm for a very valid reason
