Nearly!! Very Nearly!

I almost gave in today and got back into 4WD :shock: I was out and about and saw a 2002 Audi S3, Metallic Black, silver leather recaro's, Bose concert, Climate, it was a minter!! Up at £15995. So I went back in the CTR to see what deal we could have. Started with the usual crap offer of £8800 :shock: Told him to ram it! Went to see his boss? came back with £9500, still said no, finally said £10k :???: This made me think, but I held out and said I'll get back. A few hours later I rang him up to say it was still to much money to put too, he then came back with "a final offer £10.5k :-) It's a good price for the CTR but it still means I have to put £5.5k towards the Audi, which apart from looking like the Royal corgi's dangly bits is probably no faster than the CTR, and is a year older. I ended up thanking him for his troubles and saying no. That is a first for me!!! I'm quite proud of myself And I can save up some more dosh.

I know mate and I've wanted one for some time. Trouble is It would leave me skint for the next 6 months :shock: And I know what I'm like, I'll see something else like (the new czt 190??) or the (astra vxr) or whatever and I'll be off on one again. The amount of money I've lost over the last few years on car's would keep a small african country in food for a year mate. But it is a very nice motor...............No! No! No!

True mate. The thing is, even the SEAT cupra R gets the nod over it in most road tests!

Good idea mate! Thing is I really can't see the missus driving again! It's been over 4 months since she last drove (when she pranged the V!!) And the way she is she can't even turn around to reach the seat belt.
