MEGAN RACING MANIFOLD?
Seen on the MLR a megan racing tubular manifold for sale anyone know if they are any good or whether to stay the hell away?

They are all made by the same company in China but different firms put there logo on them,did a post on this not long ago! nothing really bad about them if the turbo was supported proper they wont crack,trouble is most people just straight swap them and expect them to take the weight of the turbo and downpipe and still glow red hot! They hot spot a little but thats due to the awkwardness of the turbo inlet,Tina will probably back me up her as RSE have just made one for the Evo.

so is it worth me shelling out 200 squids? If so how do I make sure the turbo's supported?

to keep the turbo supported make a very large substantial plate to bolt the turbo to the block with ,the person that makes one of these would be very well off! use alloy for lightness but make sure its at least 10mm thick,once thats done you really shouldn't have a problem,as the manifolds themselves are an improvement over standard!
