fuel pump

just a quick question got EVO IV how easy is it to change the fuel pump and is it in the tank , do i have to drop the tank to get to it as cant see an inspection hole in the boot. thanks

YEP THE FUEL PUMP IS IN THE FUEL TANK IT IS WITH THE FUEL SENDER,
UNIT.

Yes you have to drop the tank to get at the pump, all the Evo's up to the 6 are changed this way. The 7 and 8 are changed from inside the car through an inspection cover.

we do ALL models thro' the inspection plate............................just takes a little applied science!! LOL

I think asp performance where trying to say that they like petbeemer remove the rear seat undo the inspection panel then withdraw the pump unit through the inspection panel
