engine re-build

Hi peeps!

i asked the other day how much and wot entails an engine re-build everyone was really helpfull in helping me decide my car didnt need it but no-one told me how much it would cost and wot parts are used to do it pistons etc?

You can't just put a price on rebuilding an engine hun, It would all depend on what parts you were replacing and why you needed to do it.

As for pistons it all depends what make you go for as to how much and how good.

Both questions are a little open ended really :-? Sorry that I can't help you further but unless you can state what you are looking at doing I can't give you a price of what it would cost

Some engine rebuilds can be mega bucks and the majority are :shock:

Can you give us some idea what sort of stuff you would be looking at using ???

yeah i no what you meean, sorry for being so vague, its just out of interest really. I guess what i am trying to acheive is a stronger engine, i am quite technically minded just dont know what bits to use!!
