Evo 6 residual values

Gents things arent to bright, even up in my neck of the woods, evo 6's are changing hands for 12k, a good friend and mlr man from near me sold his T plate icelle e6 with 50k for 12 grand, lovely car, couldnt shift it.

Traders are buying evo 6's off people for 11.5k and Station garage mitsu in aberdeen have a E6 on there forecourt with 40k miles white beautiful car well modded and looked after, they have it advertised at 16,995 and I know for a fact they paid 12 for it.

whats going on, there is another 6 albeit with high miles for sale near me icelle blue 68k miles mint condition and 12.5 the guy is obviously willing to drop on it aswell.

interesting.

With interest rates rising and people having NO dispendable income prices have to drop for people to sell performance cars.. Tis such a shame..

Any "living @ home" McDonalds Car Park Ned can get a loan for £12k or £13k and buy a tidy Evo V/VI..

Is the end nigh for the Evo??

Seriously mate for under 25's to get evo's etc is not right, imo you should build your way to this type of vehicle, the performance is staggering and respect is needed.

Insurance difficulties with the likes of tesco's turning people down on imports now it isnt easy especially when modified.

But the END no i dont think so

I had a Sunny GTi-R @ 21 and an Evo IV @ 23..

Looking back now I was way to immature for the GTi-R @ 21..

How I didn't kill myself I don't know..

More and more Evo's are being driven by Neds and it gives us all a bad name.. I don't want to sell up and buy a Porsche or NSX yet.. 8)

£15k won't get you a Porsche GT3. It may get you an old J plate NSX..

One day I will have a white NSX Type-R.. One day.. :jogging:
