Mitsubishi dealer can't service Evo VII????!!!!!

I sent this email to Pentraeth Mitsubishi:

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to enquire about the cost of a 9000mile servive for a Mitsubishi Evolution VII, I can supply my own engine oil.

& just got this reply back from them:

DEAR SIR
WE ARE NOT A MITSUBISHI RALLYART DEALER THEREFORE WE ARE UNABLE TO QUOTE YOU A PRICE FOR A SERVICE ON YOUR MITSUBISHI EVOLUTION VII RS11.

PENTRAETH MITSUBISHI

Is this right, a Mitsubishi dealer that can't service one of their own cars

UNBELIEVABLE :evil_mad:

Yes its right I'm afraid try Gallaghers in Sandycroft hunny

But for what is worth IMO you are best steering clear of the mitsi garages and having the service done at one of the tuning companies who are evo enthusiasts and seem most of the time to know more than mitsi dealers themselves :-?

yes same applies nearly everywhere

my mechanic here specialises in evos
and if i was to leave my car to a mitsi garage here , even for just an ayc change, they would bring it over to him as he has the MUT-11 tool and would add an extra 150 on to the price he charges
gits!!!!

You were lucky, at least they admitted they couldn't do it.

Most charge you a few hundred quid to point it out to you.
