Rear fog lamp

The rear fog light has been put in the drivers side spare red reflector just on the boot lid. The problem is it only has a 5 watt bulb in! Now i know it should be a 21 watt but i think this would probably melt the lens!. Is the one fitted to the Evo seven in the bumper available? Or I thought i might try to sourse some high intensity L.E.D's and put those in? Any thoughts please

It will still pass the MOT like that bud, if you can get away with that as it is then I would or are you concerned about safety i.e someone running into the back of you in the fog ?

If so then the bumper inserted fogs are best looking IMO rather than the ones that hand below the rear valance.

not 100% sure where to get them but somone here should help you

www.funkyproduct.co.uk

and go to mitsu section

Do I have a spare red "slot" in the cluster on my VII that I could use to move the crappy bolt on one from underneath the bumper into? - that would look loads nicer, and gimme something to do this weekend then...
