evo 7 vs evo 8

What it is the main differnce between those too ?

I'm talking about the normal 280bhp versions, so not an evo 8 fq300.

Which is best and why ?

The Evo VIII weighs a little less than the VII. It has 7lb more torque.

I prefer the look of the VIII over the VII.. Especially the MR! :shock:

Yes bazza, I know where these detailed specs are on your website, just asking for personal opinion / experiences... as specs sometimes doesn't mean everything...

Does it drive very different from the 8 ? and 6?

Steering is said to be more responsive than the VII [which is better than the VIII]. The ACD is supposed to be a real hoot too! 8)

Take em both for a test drive and see what you think.. :P

Sometimes other peoples opinions don't mean a thing.. I get some real stick for the colour of my Evo..

If you mean the EVO 6.... the GSR or the rs versions... or rs2 ? So the EVO 6
is the best yet again ?

Can a person of around 93kg's take place in EVO VI seats ? 93kg's in a bodybuilder kind of form ?

I fitted nicely in the subaru wrx seats... my upper legs were a bit squeezed
but it was okay...

Because I heard the evo seats except the EURO spec evo 8 were kind of small or just that the euro spec were broader or something like that...

what is ACD ? or did you mean the AYC ?

I am 6ft 2" and weigh around 100kg and I have no problems..

The VII has more responsive steering than the VI.
The VIII has more resonsive steering than the VII.

The RSII, TME and RS all have the 2.1 rack..

From that sentence I thaught you meant that the EVO 6 was more responsive then the EVO VII, and the evo VII's more responsive then the EVO VIII...

I think you typed something wrong then

so are the 2.1 racks in the rsII (also evo 7 ?) and gsr and TME more responsive then the evo VIII's 2.2 rack ?

Is the EVO VIII USA spec bad ? because it lacks AYC or other stuff ? Is the steering rack the same as the other evo VIII's ?
