EVOs Reversible Turbo system

EVOs are know by the Reversible turbo charge setup. unlike the other turbo charged engine where it comes in standard turbo setup.

why EVOs have this kind of setup :?:

Most of performance shops design a full kit that includes a new tublar exhaust manifold to overcome the stock orientation, however this costs money compare to modifying other turbo charged cars.

Can someone elaborate more on this subject, if I design a manifold to hold a standard turbo configuration, is it going to work on my EVO or i need more Stufffff.

Thanks

I don't much about turbo either. Do read someting about evo use twin scroll turbo and you cannot use unequal length header on the twinscroll turbo. :?: Am I out topic?

I already replace the stock absorber with HKS Hipermax II coilover. coz my evo original front right absorber when go through bumps, there's a knocking noise. Now, no more noise and no more ugly big gap between the wheels and fender. Will post some photo when I got time to take some shots.
I am planning to get the HKS Silent Hi power exhuast for my next mod. But budget is tight now. Hope I can get rid of my 4 door R33 Skyline GTS soon.
