Question for Bazza

Morning there,

I have just read your guide to buying an evo. Great reading I must thank
you for all the info.
One worrying point for me is the notice about models with no badges.
The one I am looking to buy has been de-badged on the rear end.
The Evolution 4 is still on both side but there are no rear badges.
To me it looks alot batter with out any but is this really a major point of concern.

It may be that the previous owner just wanted it debadged.. It may mean it has had a new bootlid and they couldn't be arsed to buy any badges [£20+ a badge!]..

Look for any signs of rear end damage and make your decision from that..

I will go and check it out as soon as i get te chance.
The bloke is giving me no pressure to buy, he syas that even if
I drop him the deposit then change my mind he will return the full
amount.
I personelly think that a car with no badges addes to its mystery.
I Cant wait to get it though.
