New EVO owner

hope someone can help just brought an evo 4 , it has 85000 miles with an induction kit and a full stainless system. I have never owned a turbo before so not sure what to expect , but in 1st 2nd and third when the turbo kicks in it is smooth ,but i have taken it onto a duel carriage way and in 4th it seemed to judder the power dropped and then it came in again , i take it this is not normal, any ideas what i should look at.
