Have You Ever Been In a Car Wreck Before?

God Forbid!

I haven't been into once in my entire life. And I am so happy I wasn't. Never been there not even as a mere passenger. Has anyone here experienced such? Can you share with us any precautionary measures we must take to avoid getting into one?

This will cause much awareness to us drivers and to passengers alike.

Thanks so much.

I have been as a passenger-the first day I spent in America in fact, it was weird. We were in a Camry, and had to slow up and stop at an on ramp to an interstate. There was no choice to as there were two other cars in front of us.

Anyway the idiot behind us did not stop. He kept coming full on, and rammed us from behind. We in turn shunted forward fast and hard (from a full stop) into the car in front.

We drove away from the crash but only just. The engine was somewhat mangled and the boot was trashed and we were overheated and all by the time we got to a garage. And as soon as the car was picked up of course it was off to the hospital for whip lash...

I've been in a couple. First, wear your seatbelt. Seriously. Second, don't date guys who do drugs. Yeah. Third, don't run from the law! Lastly, don't swerve for wildlife.

DRiving as long as I have, I guess I would be too lucky to miss them all. The worst was when a guy in Florida pulled out of a club at 1:00 am, right in the middle lane on a 3-lane road, that's right in my lane and I couldn't avoid him. My car was totalled and his had major damage but was driveable. Fortunately none of us had a scratch.
