How did you Learn to Drive?

Did you get a driving instructor? Did your family teach you how to drive? Maybe on those late nights, you managed to practice in a secluded parking lot for a while.

I personally learned all three ways, though my Dad has to be the iggest contributer. He'd have me drive everyone to the store or to my school, which really freaked me out in the beginning, but the more I got used it it, the more I had a feel for it.

The main person who taught me was a driving instructor. It was pretty good with him. Now and again, my husband would have taken me out to drive, that always ended in disaster, either he would shout at me or do something else to irritate me.

My Dad was the one who primarily taught me to drive. I mostly learned in parking lots to start with then quiet streets and then finally on to the highways.

I learned to drive in driver's education at school mostly and with my friends. My parents were always too busy and so I kind of had to find another way.

My dad taught me how to drive a manual transmission and then I went to take classes. My dad taught me the handling and such, the class taught me the laws and stuff. It's a good thing I had both. The class didn't bother teaching a manual transmission and I don't like automatics very much!

It's my dearest brother who taught me how to drive. I started off as young as 12. And I enjoyed the euphoria it brought when I first experienced driving all by myself! tee-hee! :muhaha:

I opted for a driving instructor. Now that I think about it, he was so British...almost TOO polite. Even when he wanted to wring my neck with his bare hands, he was still so unruffled. He was a stickler for details.
