No Car Doors...pimp on

Somebody just sent me an email about one of the coolest thigs I've seen in a long time. You want to bling out your roadster, then get a disappearing car door. There's no door really, the window rolls down and the 'door' sorta slides under the floor. Way cool.

Wow. Just, wow! I found a video on youtube showing just how it works. Take a look! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAtkoje4-eM

Now that is what I want for my car! There's no need to worry about car doors anymore if you can get this! It's a classic.

Nice deal, not sure if I could handle that or not. Knowing my luck it would be half stuck and then I would be trapped in my car.

That is the coolest thing I ever saw! The doors can't be very solid though I would think. If they roll up under the vehicle. What happens if you get T-boned?

Wow, that is just amazing! I love the idea of that, and I don't think I would worry too much about the doors not being too sturdy. Depending on what they are made of they would be fine-I mean in the wall doors have been done for a long time just not on cars! Of course you wouldn't have side airbags.

Maybe you could have side airbags? Depending on how the car goes down it just needs to be kind of flexible really. I wonder how feasible something like that really is? I still totally want doors like that! lol

I think they are really cool but I agree that they dont look all that sturdy to withstand much of a side impact. I'm sure that as time goes, the improvements could be made to make safety less of a concern.
