Best dents solution
Hey guys
I was driving my EVO the other day, and when I drive over this stupid pot hole, i don't know HOW! or WHY! but this chunk of asphalt slips off the front tire, and onto the shotgun passengers door. it left a small dent, and not to mention a black smear from that black brat. I don't want to bring her in, the rates are a real monster over small things, and they really overprice. If anyone knows a really nice way to bring the color and dent out ( ( I got detail paint in my garage so the smear can be cleaned and paint re-applied) but its really the dent i'm worried up about

It depends on how big and how bad the dent is. You might be able to pop it back out from the other side if you are able to access it.
For the mark, first you could try something simple like washing up liquid. If it doesn't wash off, then there is something called t-cut. It's an abrasive that often comes in a wax base (so that it polishes too) that you gently rub into the problem. Now, this won't work if the paint is scraped off already, but will help if it's a mark on top of the paint. Otherwise, matching paint colour can be tricky. |

like i said, paint isnt a problem, the detailing piant is from the dealer and claims its the same color. But it is a little old..
As for the dent, I got it popped into place sucessfully, so it looks like there never was that rock and car incident :P

Wow, it's lucky that you were able to do that! I am always worried when a car is more than a few months old that the factory colour paint won't quite match what is on the body. It can fade, and then the match won't be perfect.

Since the dent is out, you could try that t-cut product or rubbing compound to get rid of the smear. Just take your time with it and then give the detail paint a go. If the spot is not too big, you should be able to get away with it un-noticed.
