Most important features on a car

What features do you absolutely have to have on your car? I know this probably sounds dumb but mine is cup holders! My first several cars didn't have them and I hated it!

If we're talking little things like that then I have to have somewhere to keep change. Things like toll roads and so on need change at hand, so I like to have it ready.

Otherwise, I am not so bothered. A decent stereo is good to have.

A decent stereo is definitely nice to have and I like a roomy backseat for kids, purchases, etc. I also really like having somewhere to keep my change at the ready and cup holders are a plus. You just haven't lived until running late for work in the morning and spill scalding coffe all over your legs while holding the cup between them driving.

I don't like ANYONE to be eating or drinking in my car, and that includes me. I am a clumsy sod at best and have spilled one too many iced coffees in places that iced coffee should not be. So cup holders get used for pens, or whatever else.

I like to have a stereo too, otherwise I'm easy.

I go for a good car stereo the most, as I can never seem to drive without music playing! After that, I think the one necessary feature that I need to have in a car is a clock. The used cars I bought before didn't have them for some strange reason, and I'm not one to look away from the road for the few seconds it takes to check the time on my cell phone.

I'm serious about cupholders and I really really really like power windows and locks, although I can live without the last two. My car doesn't have cup holders and it's always risky business trying to get a coffee or anything of the sort home!
