STEERING VIBRATION ON BRAKING , HELP NEEDED!!

Just got the car back after leaving the whole day at the dealers to change the front wheel bearing.

Great the noise has gone :-)

OOOOOhhh Noooooo spoke too soon

The steering wheel vibrates left and right when braking from 70 mph and upwards.

Any one have clue what's going on ?

could it be wheel balance problem ? but the steering does not vibrate at high speed , it only does when i touch the brake. :???:

thanks Whoosh & Marksman.

Marksman, what u recommend for a replacment of the discs and pads. Ones that don't squeel and don't warp so easily?

I have Pagid drilled discs on the front and pagid grooved discs on the rear and pagid "blue" racing pads....but thinking of changing the pads to Ferodo D2500S mate......just as everyone recommends them

Paid just over £300 for the discs and £200 for the pads, and the car just squats when you stop!!!
But everyone has their own tastes! :-)

As Whoosh said a lot of the guys un EBC Turbo Grooved discs teamed with Ferodo DS2500 pads :muhaha:

Great combination on a small budget, if you can spend more though the AP's are the way to go, but are overkill for the road if you are not tracking it, depends what you are using the car for really

thats a good point t1rse.
iam not going to track the car so would it be better just to replace the warped discs for another standard misubitshi set rather than ebc discs and ds2500 pads?

Get a few quotes together, I think you might even find the EBC's cheaper than the original discs so its worth shopping around

If you aren't gonna track her then you don't need anything more than that tbh
