ok mate

I went ahead and bought it from the link you gave me

One thing tho.

I bought the recirc one thinking its nice and quiet, not sure if its my HKS induction pipe thats making it worse but this thing is pretty dam loud!

I didnt think it was to bad at first as I was only dumping from low boost/mid throttle which was giving a nice soft 'pitisssh' but then I let off at full boost....'the force is strong in this one'

Bit worried I sound 'chav' now

Its a fantastic quality item tho.

I have just bought one of these from www.rallynuts.com - its in their Christmas bargain bin for £97 including VAT! Only ordered it yesterday so havent fitted it yet (or got it even!)...

Carl, my car is totally standard bar an HKS Superpowerflow, what mods have you got to make it so loud? Or is mine going to be that loud do you think??

Hi skip

Yours shouldnt be toooo loud as you still have the standard spec rubber induction hose that runs off the turbo which the dump valve connects to.

The placement of the valve on the normal induction pipe isnt as close to the air filter as it is on the kit I have which is the HKS Racing Suction Kit pictured below.

If you want your car to suck like a 10 dollar ho and make dumping sounds like darth vadar then this is th way to go

its not cheap but is very nice quality and alot easier to clean the inside than the 'snorkel'

ask Bazza for price

is your car standard? if so heres a little list of things to do to kick some life into her.

1.Decat+free flowing zorst
2.Walbro fuel pump
3.HKS Racing Suction Kit(ask Bazza on here)
4.Dawes Device(boost controller)
5.'Gizmo' chip (around £160) optional but adds to pub talk
6. Apexi AFC 2.

get this little lot on and get the Apexi fuel controller set up with boost @ 1.1bar and you should have a solid 300bhp

300bhp doesnt sound like much but early Evos are light so you will have around 240bhp/ton

any questions just fire away.

Hello mate,

Thanks for the reply, I already have a shopping list

Iridium plugs
Walbro 255lph pump
Profec B Spec II
Gizzmo chip
Catback exhaust (maybe a decat too, not sure yet, bit worried about boost creep)
Racing Suction Kit looks cool, hadnt considered one of those!

I thought the Gizzmo allowed you to run 1.2bar without the need for an S-AFC ??? Or is it because yours is a III and with the higher compression can only run 1.1bar?

Its all in the future though, I bought the car to do trackdays, so brakes are first on the agenda! Got any ideas??
