Ever since I bought the car there has been an annoying knock on every bump I went over. Anyway when the car was on the ramp having the tyres fittted, I took the chance to do a bit of housekeeping on the underside. Gave everything a quick wipe down and then a spray with waxoil. Also cleaned the calipers front and rear, and found the exhaust noise. Where the flexipipe goes under the crossmember it was about 1/4 of an inch away, so put a tie wrap around the exhaust rubber and it took it to about 3/4 of an inch away! peace at last
Since doing that and with the new tyres, the car is a lot quieter on all roads now, even the radio is audible up to 60mph now
Roll on the new repeaters/indicators and a de-cat pipe :twisted:
