Guide to Replacing Fuel Pump in a Mitsubishi Evolution VII

First of all disconnect the battery, you don’t want any sparks while you’re working in the fuel tank, work in good light and avoid using power tools. Have some cloth nearby to soak up the petrol drips, and make sure the area is well ventilated. Keep everything as clean as you can to avoid getting any debris in the tank. Be careful.

Lift out the back seat base. It is held in by two clips at the front. There is a small black loop at the front of each clip that just sticks out from under the base. Release the clips and lift the seat forward, up and out.
