Neighbours can just be a pain in the bum can't they.
Noise from neighbours really drives me nuts. You can just be careful and considerate of the neighbours like outlined above. If they are clearly being unreasonable then just ignore them, but if you are coming and going in the middle of the night and leaving the engine running or revving a lot, then they have a right to complain. There are laws about making too much noise at the wrong times, which is why I tell you this, because you don't want to get caught out by a neighbour complaining.
