ive got a IV engine which i want to rebuild and when doing that i will get forge parts.
these are the parts i have so far:


Brian Crower Springs and retainers
The Brian Crower cams 272/272
ARP Head Studs
ARP main Studs
ACL Race Series Main and Rod Bearings
fidanza cam sprockets

now i thought it would be better to get Manley H-beam rods but the company adviced me the eagle rods which are $219 against $350 for the Manley rods.

also they tell me its better to use Mahle pistons then Wiseco pistons, both i can get for the same price.

so what do you think about that? eagle or manley, wiseco or mahle?


i dont think i need to get a different crank, unless it has crankwalk of course.
and i think i can keep the standard valves too?

or would you guys do it? i aint planning to get a stroker or something and plan to get around 400bhp.

there are some other stuff i have to get too, but these are just the once i found for the engine.


injectors, turbo, intercooler, ecu. i have to found out later


also where can i get a full engine gasket kit for the evo IV engine?



well i will be very glad if you guys could give me comments on the parts posted above, and tell which brand you would use.
